All shooters are welcome – both members and non-members. We meet the first and third Wednesdays from May through October. Sign-in is at 5:30 p.m. at the pistol range. Both new and experienced shooters are invited. You are encouraged to bring your spouse, neighbor, and/or a friend.

What we do

The Pistol League at LC&SA is intended for shooters who wish to become more proficient with their handguns. Courses of fire are made up of a number of 'strings' requiring 8 to 18 rounds to be fired. The strings of fire involve engaging silhouette targets from close range (as close as 3 yards) to more challenging distances (up to 25 yards) and include strong-hand only, support-hand only, and various firing positions, including firing from behind cover. All strings of fire are timed. The strings are 'revolver neutral' which means that all firearms are loaded with a maximum of six rounds. Therefore, a minimum of three speed loaders or magazine are necessary. Targets are scored and standings are maintained. An awards banquet will be held at the end of the shooting season.
