NRA Smallbore Rifle Qualification PDF Print E-mail

SmallboreRifle
The program is held on alternate Sundays (check club calendar for actual dates) at 11:00 a.m., plan on arriving at least a half hour early.

So, what do you need to get started?
Here is a great article on the Roslyn Rifle and Revolver Club website that explains the basics. This will be a brand new experience for most at the club, so come on out, share the learnings and make this new program a success!

We do have a limited number of Kimber Model 82 Government rifles (equipped with handstops) available for members use if you don't have a rifle that fits the bill. We also have a few shooting jackets (first come, first serve) available. As usual with any club equipment, these will be available only at scheduled events for your use. You will have to provide a sling and any other equipment you need to shoot, but don't let that hold you back. Standard velocity .22 LR ammunition (target grade) is also available for your purchase at a very reasonable price.

The NRA Smallbore Rifles Rules will be followed at LC & SA shoots. Excerpts from the official NRA Smallbore rules (work in progress) as they pertain to our program are available under the Smallbore section on the menu. This section will be expanded as needed. A full PDF version of the official rulebook can also be found under the Documents section of this website. We recommend that you purchase your very own copy of the rulebook from the NRA Programs Center for less than $4.00 and keep it with you for reference (Check with the club first - may have copy(s) in stock).
